Dr. Yamada has been awarded the Young Researcher Oral Presentation Award at the JOS!!

Dr. Yamada has been awarded the Young Researcher Oral Presentation Award at the JOS (The Oceanographic Society of Japan) Fall Meeting (11–15 Sep).

His presentation on particle size distributions and factors regulating them in the Kuroshio region was presented in Session 16F_I02 focusing on Kuroshio marine environments and biological production.

In receiving the award Dr. Yamada remarked that “That is an honor for me, and I intend to work hard to justify it. “

The prize includes an honorary certificate and a bottle of shochu, which is a specialty liquor of Kagoshima.
